Three “clairvoyants” based in the Bulgarian Danube city of Ruse have been charged with tax evasion.

The three women have earned a total of BGN 1 300 000 over the last five years, failing to pay any taxes, according to local authorities.

Some 500 Bulgarians who have resorted to the services of the three defendants have been questioned.

One of the clients paid a total of BGN 50 000 for the service, according to local media.
The “clairvoyants” face between 5 and 8 years behind bars if proven guilty.
