Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev is on an official trip to the US to take part in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Anti-Defamation League Tuesday.

The celebration will take place at a gala dinner in Washington, DC in the presence of representatives of the White House, the US Congress, NGOs and religious communities.

Plevneliev's participation in the event is also seen as part of the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the rescue of Bulgarian Jews in World War II.

Tuesday the Bulgarian President will also take part at a discussion on "Transatlantic Relations in a New Era," co-organized by the Institute of Cultural Diplomacy, the Johns Hopkins University, and the US German Marshall Fund.

Wednesday Plevneliev will give a lecture on the future of the EU, organized by the US European Institute.

OMG, I am just about in hysterics here. I just googled 'Anti Defamation League' because I had never heard of it; and have discovered that it is a "Jew Fest". No disrespect to Jewish people, but really, I think BG has done its part in that history............

Going to a gala dinner in Washington are we! Well Mr BG President, don't you think that there are more pressing matters to be dealt with and sorted out on the home territory, than going on a junket that is not too important to miss out on?

"Taking part in a discussion on Trans Atlantic Relations in a new era"............well guess what Mr Pres, BG hasn't quite caught up with the rest of the world and the "NEW ERA" just yet............ Oh, except for the old Commie values that still prevail in Bg, of who can steal and feather their nest the most and get away with it. Come on, get real! Come on, get with it! Bg is an absolute disgrace to itself and everyone knows it. You/We are in no position to be lecturing and participating in discussions to the rest of the world about anything really at this point in time. Let us get our house in order first to be at least credible! There is no need to be sycophantic.

Next point is; you are giving a lecture on "The future of the EU"; well, we are being marked on our "performance and credibility" at this very moment due to the scandals currently manifesting and others coming to light in the past long term, so I think that you should take the humble approach and just sit on it for the time being.

Besides that, I actually think that the glorious EU will self implode on a grand scale some time in the future.
