A failed kidnapping attempt has been made Monday morning in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
The Bulgarian National Radio reports that two unidentified businessmen have been attacked by three armed individuals around 10 am inside an underground parking garage on "Samokovsko Shosse" boulevard.
The incident occurred as the businessmen were getting in a car. Right then they saw the three assailants rushing in their direction. One of the businessmen took out a legally owned gun and fired at them upon which they fled.
The two alerted the Sofia Main Police Directorate, which say it could not yet officially confirm media reports that this has been an abduction attempt.
Police have sealed the scene and are searching it. They are also interrogating the victims of the attack.
