Fans of Bulgaria's Levski Sofia football club carried a poster greeting Adolf Hitler on his birthday at a match with Litex Lovetch on Saturday.

The scandalous behavior of the fans of PFC Levski during and after the match with Litex in Lovetch is expected to result in serious fines for the club by the Bulgarian Football Union, according to reports of dnevnik.bg.

The "Happy birthday"poster carried by fans of PFC Levski was accompanied by swastika posters.

Litex fans, on the other hand, carried a poster saying "Happy birthday. Let us clean up Bulgaria in one day", coinciding with the clean-up initiative of private TV station bTV "Let's Clean Up Bulgaria in One Day 2013".

Litex is also expected to face a penalty for the act.
