Master of Pharmacy Lidiya Neycheva has been appointed Deputy Health Minister.

Neycheva will be in charge of the pharmaceutical policy of Bulgaria's caretaker government, according to a media statement of the Health Ministry.

She graduated the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Medical University of Sofia in 1984.

Neycheva worked at the Chemical Pharmaceutical Research Institute (NIHFI) and the Military Medical Academy in Sofia and completed a specialization in Clinical Pharmacy in 1996.

Starting mid-2006, she has been manager of the Hospital Pharmacy unit at Tokuda Hospital Sofia.

It seems to be taking forever to appoint all the ministers of the caretaker government. There are only 51 days before the May 12 elections and then they will be gone. That of course is assuming that the elections will achieve a conclusive result.
