Bulgaria: New Bulgarian PM Still Elusive about Budget Health
Bulgarian PM Marin Raykov (L) answers questions after meeting Movement for Rights and Freedoms chair Lyutvi Mestan (R). BGNES

Caretaker Bulgarian PM Marin Raykov has yet again refrained from giving details about the status of Bulgaria's state budget amid fears that it might be in a less than balanced condition following the political crisis in the country.

Still, Raykov stated that he will give information to that effect "within days", after an extensive report has been completed by Minister of Finance Kalin Hristov.

"Within days, Finance Minister Hristov and I will give the public the requisite information regarding the status of the budget," said Raykov Monday after meeting liberal Movement for Rights and Freedoms leader Lyutvi Mestan.

In an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio Saturday, Raykov had stated that Bulgaria is under no "immediate" threat regarding its financial stability.

Worries that Bulgaria's state budget might not be doing all that well came with the February 18 resignation of Minister of Finance Simeon Djankov.

This was followed by a resignation of the entire cabinet of Bulgaria's former PM, Boyko Borisov, following massive street protests against stagnation in the country.

Little before stepping down, Djankov commented that he is leaving Bulgaria's finances, and the fiscal reserve in particular, in a good shape.

New Bulgarian PM Still Elusive about Budget Health
One major and crucial thing for the Bulgarian government to understand is that it has to prioritize and focus on job creation! The main focus on that government must be the stimulation, reinvigoration, and revitalization of the economy and the job market!
Bulgaria is an emerging market and its unemployment rate should be way lower.
Here some examples of countries with witch Bulgaria should increase trade.
China unemployment rate 4.3%
Russia unemployment rate 6.0%
Indonesia Unemployment Rate 6.14%
India Unemployment Rate 3.8%
South Korea Unemployment Rate 3.5%
Even Romania has Unemployment Rate 6.6%
Even Turkey has Unemployment Rate 9.6%....... neighbours….
Obviously the previous Bulgarian governments were doing everything wrong with Bulgarian unemployment rate at 12%…
