The Bulgarian Socialist Party has presented a 'rescue plan' to wrestle the country from the economic and political crisis following early elections in May.

The plan is to be implemented over 100 days, should the socialists come out winning the vote.

"At the present moment there is no bread for labor in Bulgaria, there is no free air for businesses, there is no justice for people," stated Bulgarian Socialist Party and Party of European Socialists chair Sergey Stanishev, who unveiled the program at a media event Saturday.

According to Stanishev, Bulgaria needs urgent measures and the socialists know how to stabilize the country, which has been gripped by street protests that toppled the center-right government of former PM Boyko Borisov and his GERB party.

The Bulgarian Socialist Party rescue plan is made up of five points, which include:

(1) New rules for the work of the Bulgarian Parliament to ensure greater control of the executive.

(2) Intensive support for poorest municipalities, as well as (3) Healing of the business environment and support for state companies.

(4) Fight against youth unemployment, and (5) Anti-trust legislation and public access to privatization contracts of great public import.

Socialist leader Stanishev stressed that should his party come to power, they would in particular strengthen the workings of regulatory agencies to better protect the interests of common citizens.

He added that he would personally review every single MP candidate of the party, and reiterated the socialists' will to include a significant number of new personalitis in their election lists.

Yeah, I bet he would! And to make sure they all wear the same colour red underpants or nappies. And to make sure that Uncle Kremlin approves of all the choices.

Which is the best option for Bulgaria after the heavy blow protests blew to the new government, headed by Plamen Oresharski?
New early elections.

Urgent measures to revive the economy.

There is no useful move left.
