Bulgaria's state finances are in order and there is no need to worry that the fiscal reserve is depleted, according to new caretaker PM Marin Raykov.
"Regarding the fiscal reserve, we have no immedate drama," said Raykov in an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio.
The PM however clarified that further reports and analyses of the state of Bulgaria's finances are outstanding.
Worries that Bulgaria's state budget might not be doing all that well came with the February 18 resignation of Minister of Finance Simeon Djankov.
This was followed by a resignation of the entire cabinet of Bulgaria's former PM, Boyko Borisov, following massive street protests against stagnation in the country.
