Vanya Stoyneva has been appointed Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy in Bulgaria's caretaker government.

Stoyneva will be in charge of the implementation of the Human Resources Development Operational Program, according to the press office of Bulgaria's Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

According to the media statement of the Labor Ministry, the new Deputy Minister has extensive experience in the sphere because her previous job was at the Finance Ministry's National Fund Directorate, the certifying authority for operational programs financed under the Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund of the EU.

Stoyneva holds an MA in international relations with a specialization in European countries.

She is fluent in English and French.

The panel of Bulgaria's caretaker government was announced on March 12 by President Rosen Plevneliev.

Bulgarians are to vote in early elections on May 12 after the center-right GERB government resigned on February 20 amid mass anti-poverty protests.
