Barroso Congratulates Bulgaria's Caretaker Prime Minister

José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, has congratulated Marin Raykov, who was appointed head of Bulgaria's caretaker government on Tuesday.
"I wish Prime Minister Marin Raykov success in overcoming the challenges his government faces," Barroso said in a statement quoted by bTV.
"The European Commission is confident that the caretaker government of Prime Minister Raykov will successfully lead the country to early elections on May 12. It is important that the new government ensures political and economic stability," Barroso added.
