The third man who set himself on fire during massive anti-stagnation protests in Bulgaria has passed away early Sunday morning.

53-year-old Ventsislav Vasilev set himself on fire in Radnevo on February 26, having explained he has long lived in great poverty.

He was hospitalized in critical condition with 75% burns in the Plovdiv University Hospital.

According to the hospital's release, his condition remained critical for the whole 12 days of struggle for his life, and he passed away from organ failure.
