Daniel Mitov, Deputy Chairman of GERB, has expressed his readiness to assume the position of Acting Foreign Minister
Outgoing Bulgarian Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, has been readmitted in the hospital with another hypertension crisis.
Borisov had checked in the government hospital with complaints of headache, general weakness, and nausea.
His blood pressure has been 180/100. Doctors have stabilized him with medications and had put him on systems.
The hospital's director, Associated Professor, Lyubomir Spassov, informs from now on, Borisov must take stabilizing blood pressure medications until the end of his life.
Spassov further says the reason for the outgoing PM's renewed ailment was strong strain caused by the huge crisis and protest rallies shaking the country for weeks now.
Borisov checked in the same hospital Monday with the same complaints and was released Thursday.
Doctors have advised him to take a full rest and to refrain from sports activities as it is known that he is an avid amateur football player.
On February 21, Bulgaria's Parliament approved the resignation of the government of the Prime Minister and his ruling Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria party, GERB, amidst unprecedented since 1997 protest rallies against unbearable utility bills, monopolies and wide-spread poverty that turned into a civil unrest against the political model of ruling the country.
