Majority of Bulgarians Support Just Protests - Poll: Majority of Bulgarians Support Protests - Poll

A large majority of Bulgarians, 76%, support the protest rallies in the country and believe they must continue, according to a recent flash poll of Gallup.

45% of those of voting age voice readiness to attend the rallies in upcoming days. 47% have no intentions to do so.

The poll, conducted by phone among 801 Bulgarians from all over the country, has concluded on February 26th.

According to polling experts, the huge disappointment from the entire political elite is persisting and people are seeking new leader(s) to replace them.

Luckily, however, aggressive and extremist attitudes, registered earlier when the rallies began, are diminishing.

On February 21, the Parliament approved the resignation of Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, and his center-right Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria party, GERB, amidst unprecedented since 1997 protest rallies against unbearable utility bills, monopolies and wide-spread poverty that turned into a civil unrest against the political model of ruling the country.

Meanwhile, Bulgarians are getting ready to stage a new nationwide protest rally, according to organizers, Yanko Petkov and Doncho Dudev.

The rally is scheduled for Sunday, March 3, the day Bulgaria will celebrate its National Holiday, marking the 135th anniversary of its Liberation from five centuries of Ottoman rule.

On this occasion, the organizers are calling on all Bulgarians to participate and to march peacefully, holding flowers to show respect to those who have perished for freedom.

Majority of Bulgarians Support Just Protests - Poll
All this apathy with politicians will come back to haunt the protestors - unless this changes the BSP and Turks who are always able to mobilize voters will sweep to victory and deliver even more inequality, corruption and judicial deviance than GERB could ever dream of.

Majority of Bulgarians Support Just Protests - Poll
Well, of course they do. Is this journalism? Just exactly what are the majority of Bulgarians who support "Just protests" going to do? You think those people are out their on their own? You think they have an objective?

The fact is, there is no objective, and no hope. Never has been. No nonviolent way forward, and therefore no feasible way forward.

Majority of Bulgarians Support Just Protests - Poll
The "just protests" also reject any current political parties as a solution to the problem..
Gallup Poll is one of the most accurate.. If this large majority is to be believed, then a Peoples's Party would be needed to charter the future course, but this People's Party doesn't exist..
We live in interesting times.. Stay tuned..

Madness Everywhere!

Patients at a mental institution in Sofia are watching the evening news. Now and again a man sitting in the first row jumps up, clapping his hands happily and starts saying:“It’s so good I am here, not there! It’s so damn good!”Upon seeing that behavior for yet another night, a doctor tells his colleague:“I think that guy is perfectly ok already, it’s time to release him, don’t you think?”“Yes, definitely,” the other replies. ...read
