An unsuccessful attempt was made on the life of Ahmed Dogan, founder and leader of Bulgaria's ethnic Turkish party DPS (Movement for Rights and Freedoms), on Saturday, January 19, 2013, during a party conference in Sofia.

The attacker, 25-year-old Oktay Enimehmedov,  was beaten to the ground by DPS members and was then apprehended by police.

Well James, if you had Bulgarian security there then that would have made it "oppression"...muslim minorities prefer to 'police' their own with tactics you saw in the video..

Do the Socialists still want to associate with these cave men?

At least Bulgaria is better than Belgium..

Such brutal violence. These people of the DPS want power, but you can clearly see they are a bunch of bruts, no culture, and no respect for european standards. Why did it take so long for the Bulgarian Militia to arrive? James

Ha ha ha, youtube comments are the best!

"@ Rebecca Roady, the guy was being kicked by the turkish party's politicians, not the bulgarian secret service. The gun was also turkish-made, that's why it jammed :D"

You are 100% correct Yane. I am sure it wont be long before that Turkish Nazi, Seedy pops up and delivers a diatribe about how the "poor Turks in Bulgaria are being persecuted" etc.
