Bulgarian Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski has been injured in a car crash near the Northern Bulgarian town of Ugarchin.

Moskovski has been rushed to a hospital in the town of Lovech, local media inform.

According to initial reports, Moskovski has broken his arm in the accident.

The Bulgarian National Radio says a woman traveling in the Minister's car, presumably his secretary, has broken both her legs.

Moskovski was on his way to inspect the ongoing repair works of the railway station in the village of Plachkovtsi that was destroyed in a fire in January.

He was also expected to take part in a roundtable discussion on industry in the town of Gabrovo.
