Bulgaria hosted for the first time a dedicated Google event this week, days after the search engine giant's latest program - Google Engage for Agencies - became available in the country.

More than 300 interested parties attended the event, which officially marked the launch of the program, addressed to advertising agencies, webmasters, search engine marketers or others who provide online services to Bulgarian small and medium businesses.

Participants at the one-day seminar had the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the solutions, which Google offers for free, to talk in person with Google Engage experts and to get first hand impressions from international best case studies.

"We would like the Engage program to contribute directly to the development of the online environment, by sharing our knowledge in innovative solutions, and marketing activities that can be fully measurable" stated Branimir Yossifov, Marketing Manager for Google in Bulgaria.

Members of Google Engage will have access to free training, exclusive tools and all the guidance and support they need to help clients with more effective Search Engine Marketing.

The new program is designed to help webmasters, web-designers, digital agencies, freelancers, SEOs, IT consultants and so on to use Google AdWords.

It offers free AdWords vouchers, marketing materials, education center, certification help, Webinars, videos, and online tutorials and Google support.
