An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale was felt near the Southwestern Bulgarian city of Pernik at approximately 05:12 am EET on Thursday.

Its epicenter was about 5 km from Pernik and some 32 km from Sofia.

The quake was probably an aftershock of the 5.8 magnitude earthquake that jolted Pernik and Sofia back in May 2012.
