Bulgaria's national volleyball team have finished first in its qualifying group at the London Olympics after crushing Italy in their last match Monday.
The Bulgarians beat Italy 3:0 – 32:30, 25:20, 25:19 in the individual games – and have remained first in Group A with 12 points, i.e. four wins and one loss.
Poland are second, while Italy have remained third. The first four teams qualify for the quarter-finals.
Having finished first in its group, the Bulgarian national volleyball team will face the fourth in Group B, which will most likely be Germany, after earlier on Monday Serbia lost to Russia, and had to go home.
