Tensions between Iran and Isreal are escalating, after the Islamic Republic performed a missile test, and a former Israeli intelligence chief said his country is ready to attack.
Iran has announced Saturday that it sucessfully tested a short-range ballistic rocket Fateh-110, reports the state Bulgarian News Agency.
"The rocket can faultlessly determine the locations at a range of 300 km and is Iran's most precise weapon of its kind," stated Iranian Minister of Defense Ahmad Wahidi.
Iran has been actively perfecting its ballistic missiles, concentrating on weapons that can hit on targets in the sea.
Earlier Saturday former Israeli military intelligence chief, gen. Aharon Ze'evi-Farkash has stated that his country is actively preparing a strike on Iran, in order to hinder its nuclear program.
"My interpretation of the situation shows that this might happen soon, within several weeks or 2 months," said Farkash, nevertheless pointing out that Israel might choose not to resort to force
Meanwhile Saturday Iran's Guardian Council president Ahmad Jannati has stated that international forces are leading a war on Iran's economics by imposing sanctions.
Iran-Israel tensions resumed escalating following the July 18 terrorist attack in Burgas, Bulgaria against Israeli tourists, which was quickly blamed by senior Israeli statemen on Hezbollah and Iran.
