Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov came from behind to defeat French sixth seed Julien Benneteau from the Suisse Open in Gstaad on Tuesday.

Dimitrov's 3-6 6-4 6-1 victory over over the world No. 32 came after one hour and 44 minutes on the red clay, Australia's Sportal informs.

The young Bulgarian has been in top form recently, reaching two ATP semifinals at his past two ATP 250-level events.

He will meet German qualifier Dustin Brown in the second round in Gstaad, after the ex-Jamaica representative edged out Ukraine's Sergiy Stakhovsky 3-6 6-4 7-6 (10-8).
