Bulgaria's business should invest in Kosovo, since the country is now attractive from an economic point of view, Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci reckons.

In an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio, Thaci thanked the country for being among the first to recognize Kosovo's independence back in 2008.

Commenting on Tomislav Nikolic's victory in Serbia's presidential elections, the Prime Minister pointed out that it was the legitimate choice of Serbian people.

"We in Pristina want to have good relations between the two nations – between ordinary people, as well as on a political level," he declared. Thaci also revealed that a project for the integration of Serbs in Northern Kosovo is considered.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaci is paying an official two-day visit to the Bulgarian capital.

He is scheduled to confer with Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borisov on Tuesday.

On Monday, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev told Thaci that his country strongly backs Kosovo's prospects as a worthy member of the European Union and NATO.
