A passenger plane crashed into a two-story building in the Nigerian city of Lagos on Sunday, according to officials.

Casualty figures are yet to be determined. There were a total of 153 people on board, international media say.

Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority head Harold Denuren has been quted saying that he did not believe any of the 153 people on board had survived.

The crash took place in a neighbourhood just outside the airport.
