Bulgaria and Vietnam signed a bilateral agreement for cooperation in the sphere of education during Bulgarian Parliamentary Speaker Tsetska Tsacheva's visit to the Asian country.
An agreement for the bilateral protection of information was also signed between Bulgaria and Vietnam.
On Tuesday, Tsacheva met with Vietnam's National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung.
Although the world is suffering serious impacts from global economic crises, Vietnam and Bulgaria still see a lot of opportunities to step up cooperation, especially in agriculture, energy, construction, goods exchange, food and health, the Bulgarian Parliamentary Speaker pointed out.
Her counterpart said the two sides should pay attention to strengthening business coordination and exchanges, adding that Vietnam is ready to create conditions for Bulgaria to boost cooperation with other ASEAN member countries.
