Former Bulgarian football referee Momchil Vraykov has been arrested in Antwerp on charges of bank card forgery and participation in an organized crime network.

Vraykov has been detained on an Interpol request by the Bulgarian authorities, which are investigating allegations against him.

Monday the Plovdiv District Court in Bulgaria arrested Vladislav Kutsoyanis, a local businessmen believed to be part of the network.

At the same time the former referee has a trial against him in Ireland, on allegations of bank card draining.

Vraykov had been arrested in February 2011 in Dublin in connection with this, but was released due to lack of sufficient evidence.
