Czech national air carrier CSA have terminated their flights between Prague and Sofia as of Sunday.
CSA had announced this decision in February as part of part of plans for company restructuring.
Sofia is one of a string of European capitals that the Czech Airlines have discontinued flights to, including Athens, Skopje, Tbilisi and Helsinki.
Flights to Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam, Dusseldorf and Riga have been reduced.
However, the number of flights to Russia and some other former Soviet republics has been increased
This is part of CSA's plans to become a bridge between eastern and western destinations.
