Bulgarian Bus Overturns in Turkey, 11 Injured Including 2 Bulgarians
A bus with Bulgarian registration veered off its path, resulting in 11 injuries, two of which are reported to be severe
Four people died in Bulgaria after a Turkish tractor trailer hit a horse cart near the village of Popovitsa late Monday evening.
The Ministry of Interior reports that the helish crash happened about 9 pm, a kilometer before the village.
According to initial information, the truck collided with the cart, which did not have rear reflectors. Four people traveled in it. The crash occurred at an unlit section of the road.
V.D., 27, V.Y.D., 17, A.A., of Popovitsa and N.N., 52, from the village Chalukovi, were killed on the spot.
The driver of the Turkish truck is being kept behind bars for 24 hours. He has tested negative for alcohol blood content.
Police are investigating the incident.
