A number of senior Bulgarian State servants, 170, have submitted incomplete or false property declarations with the National Audit Office, NAO.

The list of politicians and magistrates with such declarations was released by NAO Friday.

"Dnevnik" daily writes that the data will be sent to the National Revenue Agency, NRA, for audits, and to the Director of the National Security Agency, DANS.

The list does not include ministers and deputy ministers. It has several Members of the Parliament, but mainly magistrates and officials from local administrations.

One of the most striking discrepancies was found in the declaration of Elka Todorova, member of the Control Board of the National Social Security Institute, NOI, who failed to list a payment from an individual in the amount of BGN 137 000.

Konstantin Tilev, from the Communications watchdog failed to declare and apartment with a parking garage in Sofia.

Oleg Nedyalkov, from the Managing Council of the Central Bank, had not reported newly-purchased shares in a company and building rights for a single family home, acquired by his spouse.

The recently elected Mayor of the southern city of Blagoevgrad, ex MP from the ruling Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria party, GERB, Atanas Kambitov, failed to declare an equity loan on a seaside property to cover debt to a foreign bank.

The new Mayor of the second largest city of Plovdiv, ex Regional Governor, Ivan Totev, also from GERB, had not listed a lease on a car by his spouse. The Mayor reelect of the beach town of Sozopol, Panayot Reyzi, failed to report acquiring through a Court rule a land plot with a vacation home, along with a motor boat, and a new car.

Ivan Lebanov, Mayor of Velingrad, had not declared a purchase of municipal land slated for residential construction, while the former Mayor of the beach town of Balchik, Mitko Petrov, had omitted the purchase of four land plots.

Among the MPs, Daniela Daritkova, from GERB, had not reported her husband purchasing a Jaguar; Nikolay Rashev, GERB – that he bought and later sold an Audi; Dimitar Gogov from the opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party, BSP – a lease on a Chevrolet Cruise; Kamen Petkov, formerly from the nationalist Ataka, and now independent – acquiring a land plot in Sofia.

Among the magistrates, Ivan Dimov, from the Sliven Regional Court, failed to declare a lease on a Volvo and a land plot purchase by his spouse; Emanuil Eremiev, from the Veliko Tanovo Appellate Court – the purchase of land with a vacation home, summer kitchen and a parking garage and a purchase of shares in foreign companies by his spouse; Mariyana Bahchevan, a judge with the Varna Administrative Court – a purchase of shares in a newly-established company; Nikolay Nenov, also a Varna judge – a purchase of a land plot made by his spouse.

Diana Pavlova, a senior DANS employee, had not reported income of her husband in the amount of BGN 11 000; Petio Stamenov, also a high-ranking DANS employee – the purchase of a new Honda Accord.
