State to Cover Rare Disease Treatment Costs In Bulgaria
The government will fund medications and specialized foods for individuals over 18 with rare diseases, but eligibility hinges on starting treatment before adulthood
The Chair of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, BAS, Nikola Sabotinov, is presenting Monday the 3-year program for the development of the Academy to President-elect, Rosen Plevneliev.
Plevneliev will meet the BAS leadership at noon at the Academy's headquarters in downtown Sofia.
The commitment to prepare such program was made at another meeting in the presence of the President-elect, which was held on November 15.
