The Chair of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, BAS, Nikola Sabotinov, is presenting Monday the 3-year program for the development of the Academy to President-elect, Rosen Plevneliev.

Plevneliev will meet the BAS leadership at noon at the Academy's headquarters in downtown Sofia.

The commitment to prepare such program was made at another meeting in the presence of the President-elect, which was held on November 15.

At that time Plevneliev vowed support for the embattled BAS, in slating an additional BGN 5 M for their 2012 budget.

Sabotinov and the new President will make statements for the media later during the day.
