The location of CIA's secret prison known to be somewhere in Romania has been unveiled in a residential neighborhood of capital Bucharest, according to a report by German TV ARD.

According to the report the CIA secret prison is located in the northern part of the Romanian capital, just minutes from the city center.

The building, located in a populous residential area, officially houses Romania's National Registry for Classified Information, which keeps secret info from NATO and the EU, says ARD.

The report claims that under operation codenamed Bright Light, the CIA has used the building for years to temporarily hold extremely important terorists.

Among the detainees alleged to have resided in CIA's Bucharest secret prison is Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, claimed to be among the organizers of the September 11 attacks.
