Bulgaria: Major Bulgarian Black Sea City to Stay Dry for 1 Day

The Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas will have no supplies of fresh water all through Wednesday till Thursday morning, announced the local water supply company.

Water in the entire city, which with pop. 200,000 is Bulgaria's fourth-largest, will be stopped from 6 am Wednesday until 10 am on Thursday.

The reason for the inconvenience is rehabilitation work at the Kamchiya Reservoir in preparation for the winter season.

The local water supply company have advised Burgas residents to boil their water for two days after supplies resume Thursday.
