The Roma New Year festivities kick off, spanning three days of cultural revelry
If necessary, a new club could be easily found for Manchester United's unsettled striker Dimitar Berbatov, his agent Emil Danchev has declared.
The 30-year-old Bulgarian hitman has started looking like a complete outsider at Old Trafford recently, especially after the emergence of Danny Welbeck.
The Bulgarian, who finished the last season as Premiership's join top goalscorer, is not even guaranteed a place on the bench for the upcoming title clash with archrivals City.
"We have to accept reality," Emil Danchev has told Fichajes. "We have to be patient. I am aware of Berbatov's qualities and I am not worried about his future, we will be seeking another club if it becomes necessary," the agent has added.
Berbatov himself remains convinced he still has a future with the Premier League champions and is desperate for Sir Alex Ferguson to put his faith in him, according to Manchester Evening News.
The Bulgarian's current contract with the Red Devils expires in the summer of 2012 and the club is unlikely to let him leave for free.
Even though the prolific forward has stated on numerous occasions he is willing to stay with Manchester United and win trophies, he has been linked Paris St Germain, Juventus, Roma and Malaga, among others.
