A car bomb has exploded in a central area of the Turkish capital Ankara, killing 3 persons, injuring dozens and causing significant damage.
Turkish police are currently searching for two more bombs that are suspected to be planted in the area, reports RIA Novosti.
The explosion went off late Tuesday morning on the Kizilay Square, in front of the administrative building of Cankaya district.
At least 27 persons are reported wounded, some of them gravely, and 3 killed, the information for the latter being unconfirmed by authorities.
The explosion comes just hours after the government of Turkey announced they will continue their struggle with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his part is expected on a high-profile visit to the USA to hold talks with American leaders, in particular relating to the matters of global security.
