The Bulgarian man who was detained Saturday at the Amsterdam airport for disturbing the public order, has been released, the country's Foreign Ministry announced.

The man was taken off his flight after an argument began over luggage placement in the plane, the Ministry's statement says.

The Bulgarian was apprehended after he started threatening the pilot and passengers aboard, it has been already made clear. Then the pilot returned the machine to the runway entrance, where the man was arrested.

"Our compatriot was interrogated in connection with the case. The Bulgarian Consul in The Hague has contacted the Prosecutor in charge and the Bulgarian citizen has been released," according to the Foreign Ministry.
