After crushing Venus Williams at Wimbledon for a second consecutive year, Bulgaria's female tennis star Tsvetana Pironkova commented she did not sweat too much scoring the win.
Pironkova beat Williams in the fourth round of Wimbledon on Monday, after kicking the US star out of the quarter-finals of the top tennis tournament in 2010.
In one of the most fascinating match-ups of Wimbledon 2011, the Bulgarian top female tennis player clinched her victory against the US star confidently 6:2, 6:3.
"I beat Venus Williams for a second year in a row. Reaching the quarter-final is a dream come true for me. I felt calm, there was no nervousness that usually grips you at a time like that," Pironkova commented after the match, as cited by Gong.
"I played well, I pressured her as firmly as I could. This is it, anything is possible. I wouldn't say it was hard, I tried to stay concentrated, to think about the next point," she said.
Bulgaria's Pironkova will face Petra Kvitova in the Wimbledon quarter-final.
"I still haven't won against her. I know that it will be hard, but I hope for success," Pironkova declared.
