Two English men have been detained on charges of hooliganism in Bulgaria's Black Sea resort Sunny Beach in one night, according to the Ministry of Interior.
On Tuesday, at around 03:30, police officers detained M.F, a 27-year old English tourist who had arrived in Bulgaria on the day before and had taken up residence at the Sunny Day hotel in Sunny Beach.
Little before he was detained, the man had started a row and a fight with the hotel staff and guests. He resisted arrest, forcing the police to use handcuffs.
At around 05:20 on the same day, English tourust M.K, 45 years old, was detained by the Nessebar Regional Police Department for 24 hours, again facing charges of hooliganism. The woman had arrived in Bulgaria on May 03 and was staying at a hotel in Sunny Beach.
The woman, visibly drunk, had started a quarrel in a food store opposite the Globus hotel, making the shop assistant press the panic button.
The woman did not obey police orders and behaved rudely and inadequately, hitting one of the officers on the arm.
