Bulgaria's police and customs have shattered an international cocaine trafficking channel in cooperation with their German and Israeli colleagues.

Three men – two Israeli citizens and a person with a dual Spanish-Colombian citizenship – were arrested in Bulgaria's Black Sea Port Varna within several days – in the joint special operation of the Unit for Combating Organized Crime GDBOP, the Customs Agency, and the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of Cassation.

The group trafficking Latin American cocaine for the EU and Asian countries via Bulgaria's Varna through courier parcel shipments.

The police have captured 1 kg of high-quality Colombian cocaine, and the three detainees are expected to be charged with drug trafficking.
