The Taliban has threatened fresh attacks on Pakistani leaders and US targets in the aftermath of Monday's raid that resulted in Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden's death.
Just several hours after the US announced bin Laden's death, a bomb went off in Charsadda, Northwestern Pakistan, killing a woman and three children. The accident took place 53 km west of Abbottabad, where the former Al Qaeda leader was killed in a shootout. It is still unclear whether there is a connection.
Meanwhile, Hamas - which just signed an agreement with the leading authorities in the Palestinian territory - has condemned the killing, calling bin Laden a "holy Arab worrier".
