Boyko Borisov and His Ministers Fiddle ... as Bulgaria Falls Apart!
Recently we have seen yet again the Bulgarian government boasting to anyone who will listen, how wonderful they are and an example to any country by way of their behaviour in Bulgaria and the EU.
Everything in the garden is rosy!
If you live in Bulgaria you might be excused for wondering if they are talking about the same country, where things have gone backwards for most normal people since 2007 and the future prospects appear depressing. In order to balance the budget Finance Minister "Scrooge" Simeon Djankov, has cut back on everything and made the poor even more vulnerable in these desperate times, when food and utility prices are rising at an unsustainable rate. The safely nets have been removed and it's a sink or swim mentality that's now being created.
Health care is a lottery and if you are unable to bribe the staff, there is no chance of even getting essential care or help. I always marvel as to why for a very small amount of money and effort the hospitals could not at least look clean and hygienic.
The transport system is relying on the skills of the motor mechanics in keeping buses and trams circa 1950's in operational order; so at least people can get about. Bulgaria is experiencing excessive and permanent air pollution across its territory, with the amount of dust in the air exceeding all environmental standards.
The capital, Sofia, and the second-largest city of Plovdiv are the urban areas worst affected, according to monitoring data provided by the Bulgarian Environmental Ministry. The town of Pernik registers pollution levels twice as high as permitted levels.
We keep hearing of new road building projects that will bring lots of investments into Bulgaria, when the world sees how wonderful they are. I'm not sure how these people will view the chaotic traffic conditions in the capital Sofia, where trams, buses, taxis, Roma horse-driven carts and cars are all trying to compete on roads that are badly maintained and in places dangerous... The pavements are even worse with cars still using them as parking spaces and in bad repair.
Everywhere people are going through the rubbish bins looking for anything to eat, sell or wear.... does this sound like Utopia Mr Borisov ?
So the question is..... where's the money coming from to improve all the lives of the ordinary Bulgarians and when??

The 21st Century times of socio-economic and climate code-red of local and global turbulences is calling for more and more Brave-Wisemen with coherent leadership-teams to step in and deliver actual results. Some will be remembered as a leaders and heroes, some not. It is like in the football teams legions. It is up-to every one to make his own choices whose steps to follow, conjoin or support.
Bulgarian PM Backs Mass Railroad Layoffs
"I am like a surgeon – a patient comes and dies. BDZ's debt is close to BGN 1 B, and it grows every year. We have to take from retirement pensions, healthcare, security, childcare to cover these obligations. For many years instead of doing the surgery we let the infection invade the entire organism. I am suffering too, but this is the only option – if we do not go ahead with the 2 000-layoff, the entire system will die. This is the last chance for surgeon Borisov to cure BDZ," Borisov declared during the show.”
Even in some of the world’s poorest countries they recognise that the railways are their “ live blood” and need protecting at all costs… Not in Bulgaria where it’s better to build roads to pollute and congest the cities that will not bring back the millions of Bulgarians that have migrated.

Bulgaria Tops OLAF Fraud Investigations List in 2011 Report
Bulgaria has the highest number of new cases of abuse reports from among all EU 27-member states, shows the Annual Operational Report 2011 of EU Anti-Fraud Office OLAF.
The authorities in Bulgaria received a total of 93 new reports of cases in 2010, more than in any other EU member state or candidate country, out of a total of 705.
Wel,l the 17km super highways are being built and I’m sure that Boyko the “Buffoon” and co have got their eye on the ball with the Top Cop a specialist in sports coaching.
The fiddling continues ….
Here’s another article that I’m sure in your opinion is racist towards the Bulgarian people that over 10,000 people have read!
I see it as a factual and objective overview of Bulgaria and in support of the “ real Bulgarians”
A person who believes in racism is the doctrine that a certain human race is superior to any or all others.
This is the bed mate of the GERB who’s support they have been relying on in parliament……
“The leader of Bulgaria's nationalist, far-right Ataka party and presidential hopeful, Volen Siderov, ruined a Thursday morning TV debate, dedicated to the issue of ethnic hatred.”
“Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive”
The fiddling continues !
Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said Wednesday that road construction was his way of responding to tension-instigators.
"Every day I leave 30-40 km of new roads, kindergartens and water purification stations behind me", Borisov proudly declared in the southern Bulgarian city of Dimitrovgrad.
This statement borders on insanity and shows what an idiot is running Bulgaria.

The State budget will not in any way need to be updated, Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Simeon Djankov, declared Wednesday.
In an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio, BNR, Djankov said there is enough money in the budget and this is not the right moment to make updates at the time when most of the finances of European countries are shacking.
Of course Djankov will do nothing as that means he has got the computations wrong and his inflated ego would never allow this to happen. Also, elections make politicians lie even more than usual!!
Bulgaria's Foreign Affairs Minister, Nikolay Mladenov, is tying the knot with his girlfriend Gergana Saturday at the Evsinograd State Residence.
Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, is their best man
Another example of the decadent lifestyle that some Bulgarians enjoy while others struggle to survive.
It’s reported that the associated fees to hire Evsinograd for a wedding are 100,000 leva and before hand 5,000 leva must be paid to the Council of Ministers.
Maybe like the MOI private donations the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has the same arrangement with the generous Bulgarian public?
The fiddling continues,….. they now have a full symphonic orchestra!
According to the transcript of the Bulgarian government's meeting on Wednesday, which was released Friday, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov ordered the Finance Ministry to allocated BGN 30 M for the reconstruction of the Balchik Airport for civilian purposes.
Yet again another example of the concern and priorities for the present GERB government and it’s mentally retarded leader… Boyko Borisov.
30 Million leva right now would help so many people, who are desperately in need of some many things just to stay alive and maintain a meagre existence in Bulgaria.
The communist would never have let this state of affairs happen in Bulgaria and although people never had the freedom, at least the state provided for all the others things that were an essential component for survival.
