Two people have been killed and two others wounded in a shooting at an airport in the German city of Frankfurt.

Police have reportedly arrested a 21-year-old suspect from Kosovo.

German media are reporting that shots were fired "near" or "on" a bus carrying American soldiers.

An airport spokesman Wednesday's shooting took place in front of Terminal 2 of what is continental Europe's second-biggest hub. He declined to be named in line with policy.

The U.S. Army Europe said it had no immediate information on the incident but was looking into it.
