Serbian Prime Minister, Mirko Cvetcovic, is arriving Monday on an official visit to Bulgaria on the invitation of his counterpart Boyko Borisov.

The two are holding a private talk at the Council of Ministers building later Monday to be followed by a delegation-level meeting and a press conference.

On Tuesday, the agenda includes a Bulgarian-Serbian business forum at the Sofia Sheraton hotel. Cvetcovic will also meet the Speaker of the Parliament, Tsetska Tsacheva.

The visit triggered strong reaction on the part of the Bulgarian nationalist party VMRO. They asked Borisov to cancel it over the February 18 Serbian police ban of Bulgarians to organize in the Serbian town of Bosilegrad a march and a ceremony in honor of the 138th anniversary of the hanging of Bulgaria's national hero and revolutionary Vasil Levski.

VMRO are further organizing a protest rally on front of the Council of Ministers building beginning at 11 am Monday. They plan to erect fake Roma dwellings as a sign of protest against the cabinet's failure to deal with such illegal construction, VMRO say.
