The Egyptian army has entered into clashes with protesters who have chosen to stay at Tahrir Square, the site of huge protests against ex-President Hosni Mubarak.
Friday Mubarak announced he is stepping down, just after a communique by the army was released, announcing it supported the popular unrest.
This set for a festive mood at Tahrir, after which hundreds of thousands started leaving the square over Saturday.
But some protesters persisted in staying, until the demands for reforms are actually carried out. The army has requested that they also leave.
