"Dear Mr. Putin, all Bulgarians, our government, and myself personally are deeply shaken by the tragedy that has overtaken Russia and Russian people. We are mourning with you and the relatives of the victims of this cruel and barbarian terrorist act. During this moment of hardship Bulgaria and our government extend a hand of moral and political support. We fully condemn the vandalism and the anti-human terrorism, because the extermination of innocent people cannot be excused by any political and religious goals.
I ask you in the name of Bulgarian people to convey our sincere condolences to the relatives and the friends of the fatalities and of the injured – we live your pain and sorrow. We are prepared to help all who have suffered and have been affected for their recovery and everything else that is needed," the letter reads.

At least 35 have been killed and 130 injured after the explosions at the airport Monday afternoon.
