Dense fog in the Bulgarian capital Sofia caused, once again, numerous cancellations and delays at the capital's airport, dimming Christmas plans of scores of passengers.

Flights to Frankfurt, Munich, Prague and Bucharest, scheduled to take off in the morning have been cancelled.

Flights arriving from London, Brussels and Valencia overnight were redirected to the airport in the Black Sea city of Burgas.

Flights arriving from Bucharest and Tel-Aviv Friday morning have been canceled as well.
