Three days before the runoff vote in Brazil's Presidential Elections, support for Bulgaria-descended Dilma Rousseff increased to 52%, latest poll showed.

In comparison, her major opponent, the Social-Democratic candidate Jose Serra is supported by 39% of the voters.

The support for Rousseff, who is the Workers' Party candidate, increased by 2% since the last poll.

According to analysts, given the invalid and blank ballots on the election day, which is Sunday, it is expected that Rousseff receives 57% valid votes against 43% for Serra.

Rousseff, President Lula's former chief of staff, is of Bulgarian origin as her father Petar (Pedro) Rousseff emigrated to Latin America in the 1940s.
