German President Christian Wulff is starting his five-day official visit to Turkey on Monday.
Wulff's arrival to Ankara will be the first German head of state visit to Turkey in over 10 years.
He is expected to give a speech in the Turkish parliament, in which he will most likely address the topic of integration of Muslim immigrants in the German society.
On October 3, Wulff's recognition of Islam as "part of Germany" set off a row in his country and made several high-ranking politicians to address the topic publicly.
