Bulgaria are playing against Cuba in a crucial World Volleyball Championship match in Italy Wednesday night.

The outcome of the match will determine if Bulgaria will get a medal from the World Volleyball Championship as the winner will occupy the first spot in Pool Q of the tournament, and will qualify for the semi-finals.

In the semi-final the winner of Bulgaria-Cuba will face Serbia, who became the first team to make it to the next to the last stage of the tournament.

Monday night, in their first match of Pool Q, the Bulgarians, led by Italian coach Silvano Prandi beat Spain 3:1 (25:21, 27:25, 26:28, 25:18).
