A Russian Il-76 military transport plane has crashed in the Ivanovo region, northeast of Moscow
The driver of an old Moskvich careened through a group of people waiting for a bus in Sofia Saturday morning, heavily injuring a young woman, who died on her way to the hospital.
The accident occurred after two cars clashed on Nikola Petkov boulevard shortly after 9 am, police said. The Moskvich crashed into the bus stop and plowed through a group of people before coming to rest.
The killed woman is said to be about 30-year-old. No other people have been injured.
Reports say high speed and the lack of a a low cement wall at the base of the road most probably are to blame for the tragedy.
