Bulgaria and Romania have the devoted and categorical support of the Salzburg Forum for their entry in the Schengen Area, announced Bulgarian Minister of Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov Thursday.

Minister Tsvetanov participated in the launch of the anniversary conference of the forum that is to set out the organization's Vision 2020.

The Salzburg Forum is a cooperation venue for the Ministers of Interior of Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Romania.

All Salzburg countries but Bulgaria and Romania are part of EU's Schengen Area.

Within the next couple of days interior ministers from the forum countries will discuss measures to strengthen cooperation in the area of home affairs and security, including information exchange and combating international organized crime.
