The Greek police have arrested four Bulgarian men for theft of cables, the Greek online publication “Zougla” has announced.

By stealing cables, the Bulgarians have harmed the safety of movement of the trains on the route Athens-Thessaloniki.

The thieves have been active mostly at night and have exported the stolen cables to Bulgaria.

The four men lived in a Roma camp in the Greek city of Thebes, north of Athens.

Greece has already initiated legal proceedings against the criminals.
