Two people were wounded Monday when a car exploded in the Turkish Mediterranean resort town of Alanya near Antalya, reports the Anatolian Agency.

The explosion erupted at a parking lot in Alanya. It was latter confirmed that it was not caused by a bomb, but by the propane gas tanks of a parked car.

According to the information, the two people hurt are women from Denmark and are being treated at a local hospital.

Several vehicles and nearby windows suffered damages.
